University Athletics
Canadian university sports have come of age over the past 100-plus storied years. Now, we track their future under the name of USPORTS. One title, instantly recognizable and identical in both French and English, with one goal: To give student-athletes and national championships the visibility, appreciation and reward they deserve.
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE & ADVANCEMENT
Competition is divided over the following conferences with advancement to the USPORTS Volleyball Championship for both the men and women in each conference is determined by the U SPORTS Playing Regulations for that competition year.

​Attending, and winning, a U SPORTS Championship is the pinnacle of University sport in Canada.
The OUA is the U SPORTS Conference Association for the province of Ontario. The OUA provides leadership, stewardship, and policy direction for university sport and governs sanctioned interuniversity sport competition in Ontario on behalf of its member institutions. ​

The Winner of the OUA Championship is the officials representative of the OUA for the U SPORTS Championship.
Note: Based on the U SPORTS playing regulations for the competition year, the OUA may be able to send up to a maximum of three teams.​​​
The Queen's University Gaels and the RMC Paladins are the two local area OUA Teams for which KDVC provides officials. Be sure to check out Canada's future superstars in action and support our local athletes. ​
