Congratulations to the player and coaches of the KSS Senior Boys Volleyball team, who beat the number one seed in the semis, on making it to the OFSAA Boys AAA Volleyball Final . In front of an electric crowd in the KSS gym, these young men played an outstanding 5-set match, narrowly losing by 12-15 in the final set.
The officials would like to acknowledge all the players, coaches, and volunteers for the event. You all did an outstanding job and should be very proud of the success of the Championship, and the role you played in it. A special shout-out goes to the member of the Organizing Committee for your hospitality and care in making the referees feel like valued members.
On a final note, KDVC would also like to acknowledge the Holy Cross Boys Volleyball team on their success this season. After finishing 3rd in their pool they were relegated to the Consolation side of the Championship, where they were defeated in the quarter-final in a very tight 5-set match (28-26, 22-25, 27-29, 25-18, 13-15) by the eventual Consolation Champions.
